Lion Websites are hosted in Brisbane at the Hostingshop Network Datacenter. The Dedicated Server datacenter is caged to prevent unauthorised access to equipment. All network equipment and the network are monitored 24/7 to ensure all services remain on-line 24/7.
Staff are located within the same building to ensure quick and immediate access should anything arise. The center has Dual Redundant Air Conditioning with Pressurised Floor, Dual UPS System, and Dual Distribution Board. Other features: include VESDA Fire Protection, 24/7/365 Security Monitoring, Emergency Stand-By Generator, 24/7 Monitoring, On-Site Staff and Fibre Ring Access.
The Dedicated Server network is built on purely Cisco equipment ensuring the best network connectivity and reliability. The network itself is redundant with dual load-balanced Cisco 7206 VXR routers either side to prevent a single point of failure.
Dedicated servers use 3 carriers to ensure network uptime and stability and Cisco routers to ensure reliability. These are Cisco 7206 VXR x2, Cisco 3640 x1 Backup Carriers, Telstra, Optus, MCI, AsianetComm, Pacific, Pipe IX QLD Peering, WebCentral Redundant Link.
All links are located within the Pipe IX Datacenter to prevent loss of carriage via external sources. Each link has 2 uplinks within the datacenter to prevent any single point of network failure.
